Toa Payoh is a dense town, but green space is never far from The Orie: neighbourhood parks within a short walk, the town park at its centre, and the forests of the Central Catchment a short trip to the west. This guide lists them, with straight-line distances on OneMap from the site.
Parks within Toa Payoh near The Orie
Toa Payoh Sensory Park, about 600 metres from the site, is the nearest landscaped park. Toa Payoh Town Park, at the heart of the town, is known for its lookout tower and is to be rejuvenated as part of the Toa Payoh Integrated Development. The developer’s location map also marks Bishan Harmony Park to the north.
Within the development itself, the five gardens of the landscaped deck add their own greenery: the conserved rain trees and narra tree, the grand lawn and meadow lounge of the Central Garden, and the serenity pods and boardwalk of the Serenity Garden.
