The Orie stands at 10 and 12 Lorong 1 Toa Payoh, District 12. Braddell station is a five-minute walk by the developer’s count, and Toa Payoh town centre is one stop away.
The Orie Location Map
Map centred on the site (1.34003, 103.85024). Open The Orie in Google Maps.
The site is a triangle at the northern tip of Toa Payoh, framed by Lorong 1 Toa Payoh and Lorong 4 Toa Payoh. Braddell station and Braddell Road lie to the north-west, the blocks of the Palm Spring and Bloom neighbourhoods surround it, and the Central Expressway runs a short distance to the east.
The postal codes follow the towers: 319974 for Block 10 and 319975 for Block 12. OneMap lists the development as THE ORIE (U/C), under construction, at both addresses on Lorong 1 Toa Payoh.
The developer’s location map, drawn from OneMap in December 2024, sets The Orie among the stations of three MRT lines: Braddell and Toa Payoh on the North-South Line, Bishan and Marymount on the Circle Line, and Caldecott where the Circle and Thomson-East Coast Lines cross. It marks the schools around the site, from Kheng Cheng School and Pei Chun Public School to Raffles Institution and St. Joseph’s Institution International, and the hawker centres of Palm Spring, Lorong 8, Toa Payoh West and Kim Keat Palm.
The same map shows the hospitals within reach, including Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Mount Alvernia Hospital and Toa Payoh Polyclinic, and the green spaces from Toa Payoh Sensory Park to MacRitchie Reservoir Park and Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Its call-outs repeat the developer’s own figures: a two-minute walk to the Palm Spring market and food centre and a five-minute walk to Braddell station.

The neighbourhood around The Orie
Toa Payoh was among the first new towns built by the Housing and Development Board, and it still has the character the brochure enjoys: traditional coffee shops beside newer cafes, a busy town centre, hawker centres in every quarter and the old dragon playground that the development’s own playland reimagines. Private launches here have been rare, which is part of what the developer is offering.
Beyond the town, Novena’s hospitals and malls are about two kilometres to the south, Bishan’s Junction 8 a little over a kilometre to the north, and MacRitchie Reservoir Park about two kilometres to the west; by car, the developer puts MacRitchie about ten minutes away and the Singapore Island Country Club about fifteen.
Five area guides look further: Braddell MRT and transport, schools nearby, hawker centres and food, the Toa Payoh Integrated Development and parks and green spaces.
The Orie Panorama, North
The developer’s photograph from about Level 40 looks north over Braddell station towards Bishan; the southern half, towards the city, is on the homepage.
