The Three Partners of The Orie

City Developments Limited, known as CDL, is a property group listed on the Singapore Exchange, with residential, commercial and hotel developments. Frasers Property is a real estate group headquartered in Singapore whose businesses span residential, retail, commercial, industrial and hospitality property. Sekisui House is a Japanese home builder.

The brochure’s back cover sets the three names side by side as joint developers, and the particulars name the joint-venture company as vendor. For buyers this means one contracting party, Transcend Residential (Toa Payoh) Pte. Ltd., under the licence the Controller of Housing issued for the project.

The Design Idea of The Orie

The name comes from two Japanese words: ori, meaning a fold or origami, and ie, meaning home. ADDP Architects carried that idea through the scheme: the towers are articulated with angled ledges that fold across the facade, Club Orie is made of tilted glass planes, and the arrival court is lined with angular stone walls. The developer describes the result as quiet luxury, with depth and layers of shapes to unfold.

The project details page lists every confirmed particular of The Orie, and the latest updates record each milestone.
